Skoob brings his buddies to the Stage!

Skoob is an established talent in the Hip Hop scene here in the Kingdom, who has a good eye for up and coming artists. And so it was with great pleasure that we hosted a night for Skoob along with his most trusted talents! The crowd followed the rhythm of each song like it was rehearsed, and each artist shined with their own unique style.

Rock is a diverse genre with many intriguing interpretations. And we celebrated them on Friday, August 12th, by hosting Dusk, the electric guitar prodigy with an incredible sales record on his original albums, Entropia, a band that played their first EP live on stage, Dune, a band of talented musicians that rocked the stage, and License to Kill, a band that offered the crowd hardcore punky music! All of them accumulated in the legendary Riyadh Inferno event where the crowd filled our space to the brim, all on tippy toes to behold the performances!
Nightshift Band rocked the Stage, crowd, and hats off!

Nightshift is a band of self-taught prodigies that came together in their love of having and giving fun on stage. Their fresh take on modern and classic music, coupled with their astounding talent, brought us to our feet on Friday, July 1st! It was a dynamic show that utilized all of their unnique styles harmoniously to bring the crowd a memorable show the audience would be speaking of for years to come.

As a treat for our Metal loving community, we flew in the famed Immortal Pain band! The mosh pit was rippling and swaying with each beat and the fans could not get enough of their incredible talent! There was no room for casual listening or enjoyment, the passion of the crowd was swelling and contagious as we watched them scream for more!

Theater Gathering

October of 2021 was a booming month in the Lounge in regards to diversifying the genres of art displayed and it was especially exciting to bring the art of Theater to the audience. Our community was eager to acquaint themselves with the new form of artists and watch as the stage transformed into different scenes, storylines, and settings, all with the help of actors, characters and dialogue alone! In addition, the crowd enjoyed an interactive section of the night as they gave random prompts and words to the improve actors and watched them come up with storylines on the spot.
Hookah Experiment

On Saturday the 9th of October,2021, The Hookah Experiment graced our stage in their first performance since their featured performance on our Open Mic Night a year prior. Mostafa Shirah and Ahmad Khoja gave the crowd a show to remember, playing their best covers flavored in each of their styles and paces. It was the kind of show that demands you to pause and marvel. Despite the diversity of the audience’s age, background, and music preferences, they were entranced by the show. And we were right there with them. It was one of those performances that remind us of the magic of shows and music and how beautiful it is to behold, and we are always proud to have a hand in it.
Anime Gathering

Anime has solidified itself here in the Kingdom as a universal medium of fiction and the community is ever growing. And with the rise of Anime to popularity, especially around our Syrup community, our Anime Gathering event came to fruition. It was nothing short of whimsical and downright awesome seeing the mass of creative cosplayers flood our space. The shops that attended offered an array of wonderful merchandise that the attendees were lining up to get a glimpse of.

‘Star Academy’ Winner Mostafa Mezher at Syrup

His first attempt at pursuing his passion was back in 2008 when he participated in one of the most famous LBC talent shows, “Star Academy” in its 5th edition, in Lebanon. Alongside gaining termendous experience on the show, his win garnered him a lot of attention in the Middle East.
